Reflecting on the Marketing Procurement iQ Conference 2025

Last week, I had the chance to attend the Marketing Procurement iQ Conference in Oval with Proctimise, and it was a great experience!

The sessions were insightful, especially the ones on Generative AI and relationship management.

The best part for me was connecting with other professionals and hearing their thoughts on where the industry is heading. It was a fantastic venue with food and drinks on point (always a win at a conference!).

It wasn’t just the talks; being surrounded by like-minded professionals sharing ideas was inspiring.

All in all, a great chance to learn, connect, and get a real feel for the direction of marketing procurement – I’m excited to see how the industry continues to evolve.

My 3 Key Takeaways:

  1. The Growing Influence of AI in Procurement

The sessions on Generative AI highlighted how rapidly this technology is transforming the procurement landscape. It’s clear that AI will become an integral part of our strategies, but the key to successfully leveraging it lies in effective collaboration between procurement, marketing teams, and external partners. This collaboration will drive both efficiency and innovation in our workflows.

  2. The Power of Relationship Management

Beyond the applications of AI, a major theme was the importance of relationship management. Procurement isn’t just about cost control; it’s about building strong, collaborative relationships with agencies, internal teams, and external partners. These relationships are crucial in ensuring that new technologies like AI are seamlessly integrated and that innovative solutions are achieved.

  3. Sustainability in Content Production

As sustainability remains a key focus, it’s crucial that procurement teams refine sourcing strategies that balance both environmental impact and cost-efficiency, especially when it comes to content production.

Looking forward to the next one..

Daniela
